Minnesota Financial Worker and Case Aide Association

Who We Are

The Minnesota Financial Worker and Case Aide Association (MFWCAA) is a professional organization of over 750 county and tribal agency staff, representing thousands of their peers and colleagues throughout the state. Since our inception in 1969, MFWCAA has been recognized by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, and we have been instrumental in gaining increased respect for financial workers and case aides throughout Minnesota.

Conference

MFWCAA sponsors a fall conference directly related to our current needs. Members choose the topics and speakers, and set the agenda. If you ask a MFWCAA member about what they thought of the last conference, we’re confident their response will be “Tremendous! It exceeded all expectations.” This is an opportunity for financial workers and case aides throughout Minnesota to speak out and improve the system we work in each day, and we hope you join us in our venture!

Did you know....

MFWCAA is a professional organization of over 750 county and tribal agency staff, representing thousands of their peers and colleagues throughout the state.

We had an amazing 2023 MFWCAA Conference at Madden's on Gull Lake!

Each year, MFWCAA holds an annual three-day conference for financial workers and case aides across the state to attend workshops hosted by DHS staff. Attendees learn about how to navigate complex policies from state staff working in SNAP, MFIP, GA, GRH, CCAP and health care. In addition, there’s nightly entertainment, award announcements, delicious lunches and dinners, and giveaways for attendees. Many human services staff report the MFWCAA conference as the highlight of the year!

If you’re looking for a great networking and learning opportunity, join MFWCAA and come to our annual conference! If you or anyone you know is interested in being a vendor at the the next conference, please contact President Elect Tedi Peterson at Tedi.Peterson@co.sherburne.mn.us.
